Do Eyelashes Grow Back?
Tuesday, February 1st, 2011Have you ever asked yourself, “do eyelashes grow back”? The answer to this is, for most people a resounding, yes!
It doesn’t matter whether your eyelash loss is through illness, stress, injury, a slip of the scissors or you just want to improve what nature has given you; just like the hair on your head, lashes will grow back. What does differ is the rate of growth in relation to the reason you need to grow them.
If you have been sick and/or are on medication, then this can simply affect the rate of growth. For example, people with an underperforming thyroid gland are far more likely to lose small clumps of lashes. You could try one of the lash growth products just to stimulate the growth a little, but there are no guarantees it will work. If you accidentally snipped or singed your lashes they may take longer than normal to restart the growth cycle, but they will then grow at their normal rate.
As we age, our eyelashes naturally thin out and this may prompt the use of eyelash growth products. If you wear contact lenses, you will need to be extra careful as inserting these may also affect your rate of eyelash loss. Or, perhaps you just want to improve the length and volume of your lashes so you don’t need to use so much mascara or wear false eyelashes. Either way, you can get help to make your lashes grow.
If you wish you can use the volumising mascara or false lashes, or maybe have eyelash implants or extensions but personally, the eyelash growth serums are the simplest to use and many of them will produce excellent results in as little as two to four weeks. The only downside is that because of the way they work, you will need to keep using it. However, this is not as bad as it may seem as you usually only need to apply the serum once a day (some serums may require applying twice a day).
Do try and look after your eyelashes though. When removing buy Cefaclor online eye makeup use a gentle makeup remover and do not drag or ‘pull’ at your lashes as you will simply damage them. Keep the skin around your eyes moisturised and try not to sleep in your makeup. Not only is this very unflattering when you get up in the morning to be seen with red, black rimmed eyes, it also does nothing for your eyelashes cialis either. If you use heated eyelash curlers, these will affect the condition and of course the rate of eyelash loss.
So, should you ever asked yourself, “do eyelashes grow back” then for most people the answer is certainly yes. It’s just the speed of growth and the method you use to improve the appearance of your eyelashes that may differ.
